The title is from this documentary i saw in history class on friday. the documentary was about the hippie movement, and this was one of the things that stuck out to me that this lady said. haha i love it.
older people have to realize that times are changed and not everything is the same from their time period. not that i don't respect their ways or traditions or rules, etc, but i don't like it when they try and talk down our way of life. it's different now! twentythirteen!

For the first week of the cycle, our theme was all about nature. So I decided to pose as Mother Nature. I wanted everything to be the color green and look like trees and plants. I hope I was able to do this assignment well

What makes you a top model?
~ I am confident but modest, professional at times and goofy at others. I know how to have a good time, but when I know I am needed to bring my all to the table, I will work as hard as I possibly can, with failing not even an option.

Bios ~
Ever since I was little, I've dreamed of being a model. I practiced my poses, angles, and faces in the mirror. I would dress up in my mother's clothes and heels and practice my walk down the the apartment hallway. This may all sound cliche, but that was my childhood; what I did whenever I got a chance. I wore crazy, elaborate outfits to school. I didn't care what people thought. As long as I was able to move around and get where I needed to get to, I was fine. In 11th grade, I wore my mother's prom dress to school; I cut it up to my knees and wore it with my favorite studded motorcycle jacket.
Just 3 months ago I graduated from Parson's New School for Design with a degree in fashion merchandising. Do not get me wrong, modeling is my TOP priority. But it's always nice to have something to fall back on.
I want to be a model because I feel I can truly express myself through modeling. I've walked in a few fashion shows for up and coming designers. Walking down that runway, I feel completely free and I block everything out. All I see are the people, the flashing lights, I hear my heart beating rapidly. And when I'm done I want to go back out there, it's like an obsession. When I get in front of a camera I completely zone in on that camera. I live and breathe that camera. It's just something I can't explain. Without modeling, I don't really know what else I would do. I mean I have other opportunities, but I feel I'm most happy when I'm modeling.
